The Giraffe Center was an interesting stop. This is a non-profit foundation that works with endangered wildlife. We heard an interesting talk about giraffes and then met some up close and personal. It was a memorable end to an amazing trip.
We flew in a small bush plane from Masai Mara to Arusha, then on to Nairobi. We spent the day in Nairobi and would continue our journey home later the same night with a flight to Zurich, then to London, and finally back to Los Angeles. Twenty-three hours to get home. Nairobi was a different kind of jungle. After spending three weeks in the peaceful calm of nature, the big city was a big change. Welcome back to reality.
